Who we’re looking for

ParentSquare’s CMS, Smart Sites, is growing! And, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join the team! In this role, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the development, implementation and delivery of Smart Sites to our customers. This is a dynamic position that requires a strategic mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for driving projects to successful (and timely) completion.

This role will include: 

  • Leading and managing end-to-end project lifecycle for Smart Sites (CMS) development, from project initiation to delivery.
  • Collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Effectively communicating project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks, proactively addressing challenges to keep projects on track.
  • Fostering a collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensuring adherence to project management best practices and standards.
  • Conducting regular project status meetings and providing accurate and timely reporting to leadership.
  • Representing the Smart Sites team at user conferences approximately 2 times per year, answering questions and building relationships with potential referral sources

Our Ideal Candidate will have: 

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager for a CMS or in a similar role.
  • Previous EDtech experience, SIS or experience with technical integrations (SFTP, API, etc)  
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Bring a proactive, self-motivated and positive attitude to work everyday
  • Multitask with excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Quick learner, tech savvy, and a desire to learn in a dynamic startup environment
