Who We’re Looking for:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as our first-ever Director of Operations (Back Office), focusing on process orientation and Improvement, renewals management, accounts receivable and collections, state registrations and vendor forms. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing efficient processes for handling invoices and payments, managing the renewal process with strategic price adjustments, accelerating collections to reduce interest expenses, and streamlining state registrations and vendor forms. You will also work cross-collaboratively with our teams to minimize manual tasks, adapt to customer feedback, and reduce administrative burdens so that our team can continue to grow and scale towards our vision of connecting every school and every family.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing streamlined processes for handling invoices and payments that will include ways to automate and scale payment processing
Overseeing and managing the renewals process to ensure strategic price adjustments alongside timely and accurate renewals
Seeking customer and market feedback regarding renewal strategy and adjustments
Ensuring AR and collections are streamlined and completed with a positive customer experience
Overseeing and streamlining the state registration and vendor form processes.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
8+ years of experience in financial operations: Proven track record in managing financial processes, particularly in invoicing, payments, and collections.
Strong familiarity with accounting softwares (NetSuite, Intacct) and CRM systems (Hubspot, SalesForce)
Extensive experience with pricing strategies, renewals and contract terms
Exceptional Attention to Detail with a high level of accuracy and thoroughness with a strong sense of urgency.
Expertise in data management including, data entry, cleansing, validation, and manipulation to support accurate and efficient process flows.
Excellent Organizational and Multitasking Abilities.

This role will have a salary of $140,000 to $170,000, DOE.
