Who We’re Looking for

As a Contract Specialist you will support ParentSquare by playing a crucial role in supporting the Revenue Operations Team by delivering accurate and timely quotes and contracts that align with our revenue recognition structure, complex partnership agreements, and customer requirements. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within set SLAs. Most importantly, you’re someone who shares in our passion for improving the lives of students through communication.  

Key Responsibilities:

Quoting & Contract Management:

  • Generate and deliver quotes and contracts for the Sales Team using templates, ensuring adherence to revenue recognition guidelines, pricing structures, and formatting standards.

  • Create complex migration quotes using data from multiple CRM systems, taking into account various factors such as budget requirements and customer-specific needs.

  • Make adjustments to quote templates to suit customer-specific requirements and maintain alignment with company policies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Interact with the Sales Team to ensure pricing guidelines are followed; respectfully manage or escalate requests that fall outside of established policies.

  • Collaborate with the Billing Team to ensure all contracts are formatted to facilitate a seamless transition to the invoicing stage, minimizing delays and errors.

  • Work closely with the Legal Department to review and amend Terms and Conditions, and adjust contractual language as needed to comply with customer and partnership agreements.

Data Management & Documentation:

  • Become familiar with all partner contracts impacting pricing and revenue recognition to accurately reflect them in contracts and the CRM.

  • Capture and document particularities from RFPs and other complex contracts in a scalable and consistent manner within the CRM.

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across Salesforce and HubSpot, aligning with revenue recognition standards.

Customer-Centric Focus:

  • Ensure that customers receive the resources needed to execute contracts accurately and efficiently, delivering a positive experience from quoting to contract finalization.

  • Maintain a personable and collaborative approach when working with internal stakeholders, understanding the time-sensitive nature of quoting and the importance of meeting customer expectations.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in contract management, quoting, or a similar role, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.

  • Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce and HubSpot preferred) and familiarity with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) processes.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and consistency in delivering accurate quotes and contracts with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.

  • Strong understanding of or ability to learn revenue recognition principles, pricing structures, and contractual agreements.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet set SLAs in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Sales, Legal, and Billing teams.

  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to escalate issues appropriately while maintaining positive relationships.

Salary for this position will be $60,000 to $90,000, DOE
